Kickboxing for Self Defense

Why do we train?

Most of us train as an outlet for stress, a way to get/stay in excellent shape and to be confident in our ability to use hand, elbow, knee and kick strikes… hopefully you never need them but it’s a relief to be confident in them.

See if it's a good fit...

Let’s Talk Self Defense.

So, start at the beginning.  Can you win a fight against a larger man?  The answer is yes.  Fighting sucks, it hurts, and it’s best to avoid but the answer to can you win is definitively yes.

If you question that please watch these videos of strong women winning.

Now, learning to fight is a complex physical skill but it’s totally manageable to learn.  The trick is to simplify the chaos, identify your strengths and then get a lot of experience pulling them off under pressure.
